Week 1: Mon August 31st<\/strong><\/p>\n Jane Prophet: Introduction to the course.<\/p>\n Lecture and discussion: Best practice for organizing your PhD Research<\/p>\n Week 2: Tues Sept 8th<\/strong><\/p>\n 1-2 minutes from each of you, \u201cMy PhD research is\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Jane Prophet: Lecture and discussion. The Reflexive Practitioner<\/p>\n Week 3: Tues Sept 15th<\/strong><\/p>\n Jane Prophet: What is a Literature Review?<\/p>\n Week 4: Tues Sept 22nd<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n Literature Review: everyone brings a draft bullet point plan. Discussion and exercises.<\/p>\n Week 5: Tues Sept 29th<\/sup> <\/strong><\/p>\n Jane Prophet: Structuring the PhD Thesis.<\/p>\n Week 6: Tues Oct 6th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n Intro to Beyond the Barbecue.<\/p>\n Week 7: Tues Oct 13th<\/strong><\/p>\n 15 minutes each. Lit Review presentations<\/p>\n Week 8: Tues Oct 20th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n Literature Review presentations<\/p>\n Week 9: Tues Oct 27th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n Intro to pecha kucha and Beyond the Barbeque<\/p>\n Jane Prophet: The Literature Review writing session<\/p>\n Week 10: Tues Nov 3rd<\/strong><\/p>\n TBC: Developing and writing a research article to get published.<\/p>\n Week 11: Tues Nov 10th<\/strong><\/p>\n Beyond the Barbeque: 10 minute presentations. You give 10 minute presentations, then engage in active listening and give\u00a0feedback. You MUST keep to time.<\/p>\n Jane Prophet: The Literature Review writing and feedback session<\/p>\n Week 12: Tues Nov 17th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n Guest lecture. TBC<\/p>\n Week 13: Tues Nov 24th<\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n Beyond the Barbeque: 10 minute presentations. You give 10 minute presentations, then engage in active listening to feedback.
